On Sunday May 31st, Daylight Editor Michael Itkoff spoke at a workshop led by Jonathan Torgovnik entitled 'Partnering with NGOs to Produce Meaningful Work'. The full weekend workshop featured both photographers and representatives from NGOs who discussed how photographers can collaborate with NGOs and Non-for-Profit organizations to communicate issues of contemporary social significance.

'Shelter' is a multi-continent, long-term project by Natan Dvir. These photograph seek to magnify the human dimension of the global crisis of refugees and internally displaced people. The project spans four primary locations including Israel and Colombia. An exhibition of this award-winning project is currently on display at the Houston Center for Photography.
