Daylight has launched a new blog that will feature regularly updated content from a diverse range of contributors spanning the photography industry. Daylight Blog will offer engaging criticism and review on an international scale. Every year, the festival Visa pour l'image awards six prizes. The 2008 Visa d'Or prizes are awarded for the best reports published between September 2007 and August 2008. Picture editors from international magazines chose the best young reporter for the City of Perpignan award which was presented for the third time. For the eighth year running, Canon France and the Association des Femmes Journalistes (AFJ) presented the Canon Female Photojournalist Award. Entrants were judged on both previous work as well as plans for a future project. read more »
