The 2008 Visa d'Or prizes are awarded for the best reports published between September 2007 and August 2008. Picture editors from international magazines chose the best young reporter for the City of Perpignan award which was presented for the third time. For the eighth year running, Canon France and the Association des Femmes Journalistes (AFJ) presented the Canon Female Photojournalist Award.
