The 2008 Visa d'Or prizes are awarded for the best reports published between September 2007 and August 2008. Picture editors from international magazines chose the best young reporter for the City of Perpignan award which was presented for the third time. For the eighth year running, Canon France and the Association des Femmes Journalistes (AFJ) presented the Canon Female Photojournalist Award. Entrants were judged on both previous work as well as plans for a future project. read more » DAYLIGHT'S UBUTUNZI PROJECT EXHIBITION AT THE WORLD CULTURE OPEN NYCA recent addition to Daylight's Community Arts Programs, the Ubutunzi Project provides cameras, film and basic photography instruction to women living in Rwanda. This exhibition features photographs created by fifteen Rwandan women who participated in the project.
